Are the rugs in the photographs exemplary or are they exactly what I will receive at home?
In the case of cowhide rugs, all rugs are unique and you will receive exactly the copy you chose based on the image. The rugs on our website have been photographed and measured individually. The rug you buy will be the rug you receive at home. In other items, the image is a demonstration of what you will receive, and there may be small differences with the image. We advise you to pay attention to the description of each product.
Can I order two identical items?
Natural leather items are unique due to the unique characteristics of each animal, which result in exclusive textures, colors and patterns. No two natural articles are completely the same.
How accurate are the colors in the photos?
Our photographs are as accurate as possible! However, slight variations may occur depending on the lighting conditions in your home. Lighter spaces will show colors closer to the photos, while darker areas may make the piece appear darker.
If you have any questions about the colors, we recommend opening the image on different devices, such as your cell phone, tablet and computer.
How do I clean/keep a leather rug clean?
-
Shake the Carpet:
Going out and shaking the carpet to remove all the dust is a very effective way to quickly remove all particles from the surface of the pile. Don't worry, your hair won't fall out, our skins are extremely durable!
-
Vacuum the Carpet:
The easiest and most effective way to perform routine maintenance on your carpet is to simply vacuum to remove any dust and dirt from the surface.
-
Grease Stains Removal:
Grease stains on your carpet? Do not be afraid! Start by gently scraping off the grease as best you can with a sponge or anything with fibers. How long will my carpet last?
Because they are a natural animal byproduct, leather has a very long shelf life that will last many years and in some cases more than several decades depending on how and where it was stored and used.
What does Ethically Sourced mean?
Ethically sourced means that our leathers are sourced in a way that is conscious of both animal welfare and environmental sustainability. These skins are byproducts of the meat industry, ensuring that no animal is harvested specifically just for its skin. Furthermore, the tanneries we work with are strictly regulated, ensuring environmentally sustainable practices.
How do dogs or cats treat their skin? Are they going to try to eat her?
Normally, pets do not feel any urge to chew our items. Due to the use of Chromium (a natural metal) to tan the rugs, it is a tasty treat for your furry loved ones.
However, we know that dogs and cats love to use them as beds!
Can a fur rug be placed under furniture or layered over other rugs?
Under Furniture: Yes, rugs are durable and can be placed under furniture such as coffee tables, beds, sofas and more. This adds a touch of texture and natural beauty to your space.
Layered: Yes, rugs are perfect for combining with other rugs. Jute and sisal rugs are popular choices for the base layer, while patterned rugs offer a bold statement. Experiment with different textures and colors to create a unique, personalized look.
How do I fix my rug that is curled at the edges?
Although it is uncommon, it can happen occasionally. An effective way to remedy the situation is to use a slightly damp cloth, place it over the rolled-up area, and then gently wipe over the cloth. This should help the rug become flat again.
Are white leathers really white?
True white in natural leather is rare and usually tends more towards grayish white. Although we have lighter tone leathers, it is important to note that these may not be pure white. Colors like Champagne or Beige are slightly deeper tones. Due to their rarity, our whiter leathers are marked white and are priced slightly higher. We're happy to help you find the closest match to what you're looking for!
